Where are you from?
I am from Liverpool.


Is it the first time that you are in Spain?
No, it is the second time.


Do you live here or are you on holidays?
I am on holidays, I'll stay here for two weeks.


How did you come here? By plane, ship or train?
I came by plane.


Are you travelling with family or friends?
I’m travelling with my family, my parents and my two little brothers.


What have you visited up to now?
The Camping Rubina Resort.


What do you like the most?
The people.


Have you bought any presents?
Yes, one for my nanny, she always bring me something, so she'll be happy.


Do you know any words in Catalan or Spanish?
Yes, "Hola" and "Paella".


Do you think Catalonia is expensive?
Well, depend. But in general I think it's normal.
Would you recommend Catalonia to your family or friends?
Yes, to everyone. It’s a very nice place to go, and for holidays is the best place in summer.
Do you see any differences from your country?
Absolutly the weather. I like one million times more the weather in Spain.

Is there anything you don’t like?
Mmm.. I would say no..

What’s your job?
I’m not working yet, I'm a student.


Do you know anyone who lives here in Catalonia?
No, nobody. I don't have time for making a lot of friends, haha.


Have you kissed the lion’s butt in Girona yet?
Nooo, hahaha.

What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I like spending a lot of time with my family, friends, my girlfriend... Just being with the people I love the most.



What’s your favorite place, thing or food?

I think maybe "Racó del Mar". Is a very chip restaurant near the beach.


Do you think there is a good level of English here?
Yeah, it’s good. There's a lot of people who can talk a little bit in English.


Do Catalan people make you feel welcome?
Yeah, they’re just so so kind with me.

Will you come back again?

Of course, I'll be here next summer again.

What would happen if I were the teacher and she the student...? Today I am expelled from the class. It happen at first hour in the morning. I have to pay five euros to my teacher. After that, I ask for wash my hands, as  I hate the coins smell. Sh e let me, so I went to the sink. Then she start shouting saying Loida sit down, what are you doing there, start working! I say okay, one second let me dry my hands, she shouts more and repeat me like five times the same. I am angry because I don't do nothing bad, and I say to her: chill out, and she tell me, expelled. Then I can't do nothing and I have to come here, the expelled class. I think that expulsion has no sense, and I think the teacher was so rude with me, there are another ways for talk. What I want to say in this post, is that sometimes, some teachers treats you like if they were higher, and like if they were the Mambo Kings. And yeah, they're older, and they have more knowledges than us, but they should underst

Protest Song

Changes - 2Pac This song was made by 2Pac, a rapper form the 70's. His real name is Tupac Shakur, and he was born in New York.  Even being considered one of the best rappers in history, he was sadly murdered by a gang at the age of 25, on the 13th of september of 1996.  He has been in jail several times during his life due to racism, and he used to protest about it in his songs.  I chose this song of 2pac, because I like the way he protests about things while he's rapping in a hip hop style. In this song he speaks about the war of drugs in the streets, the treatment of the Police towards the black people at the time, poverty and the dificulties of life living in the ghetto. This song was recorded between 1992 and 1996, but it was published after his death.  I love 2pac, one of my all time favourite rappers, because he puts a lot of meaning and feelings to his songs, not like the rappers of nowadays that all sing the same rubbish. My Worlds

A CRAZY WEEKEND Last weekend some friends of my boyfriend arrived from England to spend the weekend in Empuriabrava. That saturday  morning before meeting up with them, we went for breakfast. As soon as we finished breakfast we met up with them to go out on a boat and spend the day out. While we were all on the boat they were messing about and getting drunk like usual. At mid day we all had a picnic on the boat and carried on having a lot of fun. Later on that afternoon we got off from the boat and we went to the apartment where the girls were staying. We all got changed and went to the Orange Kiwi for a drink to meet up with more people. As soon as we finished our drinks we all went over to coco, one of the shisha bars from down Los Arcos. After a couple of drinks the girls decided to go some were else to carry on drinking so we went over to Capitans Cabin, an other pub down there.
